Anaheim Anti-Police Violence Protest – Photos & Video

Published On July 29, 2012 | By Matt Gratz | Activism, Anonymous, Government, Police, police state, Protest

On the weekend of July 28-29, residents of Anaheim, CA and their supporters gathered to send a message to their police department: Stop killing our friends & family, among other things. I made the trip down to Anaheim with a few friends from Oakland to show solidarity with our brothers and sisters down south.

The police presence was something I have never experienced.  Two helicopters hovered above while multiple SWAT & other tactical teams lurked around the area with officers hanging off the sides and backs of black SUV’s, horse mounted police pushed marchers out of the streets, “police officers” in military style battle gear stood guard, and snipers were perched on the near by roof tops.
